GOD WANTS ME TO KNOW

Today, you should celebrate what an unbelievable life you have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make you stronger. Just as a gem cannot be polished without friction, nor can a life be perfected without trials. Take a time to acknowledge your life and to praise yourself.

Pathetic

I’ve done something silly, fallen in love with a man who can’t love me back because he loves another. Thought it hurts like hell,I only want one thing for him —  to be eternally  happy. If the one he loves is making him happy, what more can I ask but for him to have  and hold her forever.  I may not be given the opportunity nor would’ve  the courage to let him know this but I’d say it anyway “I love you. Always have. Always will. And I’ll always be waiting in the wing. “

My song for 2010

This year, I’ll live life to the fullest
I commit to treat every problem a challenge and not a threat; a reason be sad, to be troubled but
an opportunity to learn, to grow.
I commit to embrace both the good and the bad..
I like to start living again….
leaving all failures, mistakes, disappointments, heartaches, fears and regrets behind…
I’m gonna start anew — with new conviction, confidence and aspirations…
A new Janis will be born this 2010!
It’s all about attitude…
A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E !!!!!

Sing with me sisters…

Natasha Bedingfield – Unwritten

I am unwritten,
Can’t read my mind
I’m undefined
I’m just beginning
The pen’s in my hand
Ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten, yeah

Oh, oh

I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines, oh yeah yeah
We’ve been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can’t live that way oh, oh

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
the rest still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
